SCHOLARSHIPS
OCB Scholarships
Orangeburg Civic Ballet offers three scholarships each year: the Dr. Ann V. Hurst Memorial Scholarship for students 9 - 13 years old, the Myrtle McDaniel Memorial Scholarship for students 14 years old through high school seniors and the Eddie and Adele Watkins Memorial Scholarship for the collegiate student.
These scholarships are to be used to further young dancers’ education in the arts – both academically and financially, to increase awareness in the community of the benefit of arts integration and to prepare physically and emotionally strong dancers for professional and/or academic careers.
If you are interested in applying for one of these scholarships, download the application below or pick up an application at Tamalyn’s Dance Centre, 533-0017, the home of the Orangeburg Civic Ballet, 1321 Springdale Street, Orangeburg. Scholarship application acceptance is currently closed.
